Technical Sales and Support - Industrial & Combustion
Job Description
Stromquist is looking for someone who can hit the ground running selling and supporting combustion and process controls.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Inside Sales quote and order processing:
- Answering phones
- Responding to E-mail and Fax messages
- Completing Salesforce cases (quotes and orders)
- Customer Account Management
- Determine products required by customer and suggest alternative and/or additional items related to the customer’s order
- Keeps abreast of new product information and upcoming product promotions
- Be able to proficiently read and understand catalog pages, technical manuals, specification sheets, CAD and wiring diagrams to help a customer with product selection and troubleshooting
- Job take offs based off of customer drawings
- Occasional light programming
Qualifications:
- Experience working with some or all the following:
- Honeywell 7800 Series, Fireye, or Siemens flame safety
- Fuel-Air control systems such as Honeywell Control Links or Slate
- Process controllers, recorders, transmitters
- Boilers
- Process Ovens
- Proficiency in reading and understanding Engineering diagrams, spec sheets, technical manuals and wiring diagrams
- PC proficiency for data entry and utilization of business application software including web browsers & internet search engines
- PLC programming ability is a plus
- A minimum of 5 years in the industrial and combustion controls industry
