The RM7800 is a microprocessor based integrated burner control for automatically fired gas, oil, or combination fuel single burner applications.
The RM7800 consists of a Relay Module and Keyboard Display Module. Subbase, Amplifier, and Purge Card are required to complete the system. Options include Personal Computer Interface, Data ControlBus™ Module*, Remote Display Mounting, First-Out Expanded Annunciator and Combustion System Manager™* Software.
The RM7800 is programmed to provide a level of safety, functional capability and features beyond the capacity of conventional controls. Functions provided by the RM7800 include automatic burner sequencing, flame supervision, system status indication, system or self-diagnostics and troubleshooting.
Features & Benefits:
- Preignition Interlock Input
- Selectable Intermittent/Interrupted Pilot Function (full pilot flame and main flame establishing periods apply if interrupted pilot feature selected).
- Run/Test Switch for interrupted pilot setup.
- Blinking fault annunciation on safety shutdown (power LED blinks a fault code.
- Built-in features set up only using the S7800A1142 display.
- Valve Proving System
The Valve Proving System feature provides a systematic way of testing the valve seat integrity to assure the valves are indeed in the closed state programmed to test at the time of startup, at the end of the call for heat, or both times.
The RM7800 is a versatile and reliable choice for various applications. It offers easy access for external electrical voltage checks, enhancing troubleshooting and maintenance efficiency. With its application flexibility, communication interface capability, and microcomputer technology, the RM7800 ensures dependable and long-term operation while maximizing productivity. It features a Vacuum Fluorescent Display for quick issue identification and troubleshooting, as well as LEDs for easy monitoring.
The interchangeable flame amplifiers allow customization based on specific needs, and the optional Keyboard Display Module enables local and remote annunciation of operation and fault information. The nonvolatile memory ensures data integrity even after power loss, and the RM7800 provides different Flame Failure Response Time options based on amplifier selection. Additionally, the remote reset feature enhances system management and control convenience.
