S1000 : The Eclypse Controller




What is it?

The S1000 is the Swiss Army knife of the Distech controllers and the first of the Eclypse controllers.

It is a powerful controller that allows you to create uniformity within your jobs while tacking different applications.

The S1000 is scalable and customizable with the ability to add IO.

Although the S1000 is not a JACE replacement, the latest version allows for connections with the ability to host graphics and trends without the need for SMAs.

 How does it work?

With the S-1000’s modular components, you can add up to 320 points specific to the needs of the application.

With the customization of the added compact IO modules, you can have a generic panel build-out that monitors everything from the temperature of a space to the load pull of a dishwasher.

The HOA modules provide hand/off/auto capabilities without the additional components in the field. This also allows you one place to see the status of each of these in the panel or pull them into the BAS system to see them remotely.

With the BACnet B-BC capabilities, you don’t necessarily have to have a front end and can bring other controllers directly into the S1000.

With the RS485 communication modules, you can bring in BACnet points and devices.

The small IO components allow your panels to take up less of a footprint allowing you to put your controllers closer to the components being controlled or monitored creating savings on wire and labor especially when looking at the equipment not needed for mounting smaller panels.
