Rethinking People Flow

Xovis believes in freedom of movement. All people should expect safety, comfort and privacy as they move around. In a world where mobility and population are increasing, rethinking people flow will improve quality of life.

Their effective and tailored solutions keep track of people flow. From passengers at airport terminals to train platforms and from visitors at shopping malls to smart buildings, we enhance a smooth and safe journey.

People Flow Management for Smart Buildings

Know your building, inside and out, and make it smart!

It's not just about saving operating costs. An efficient people flow management solution leads to more satisfied tenants and visitors who take away a positive impression of your building. Make your building sustainable and smart with real-time insights and historical data.

Accurate data about how people flow in, out, and around your building enables efficient building and business management. With real-time insights, you can better manage people flows. For example, in high-demand areas like meeting rooms and the restaurant, or clean certain areas such as restrooms on demand rather than at fixed times.

Managing people flow helps you develop operational strategies and plan the staff numbers better, and enhances the overall experience of anyone visiting your building. Managing air conditioning, heating, electricity, and appliances according to the number of people present in the building saves you the operational cost.

Precise detection of number of individuals

Increase user comfort by providing real-time data on occupancy level in certain areas, e.g., allow employees to find a free desk or meeting room easily. Improve space allocations, plan accurate space requirements, and avoid overspending..

Real-time insights for efficiency and flexibility

Drive action at the right time and place, based on real-time insights. Our sensors provide accurate data for historical analysis, rationalizing space, improving asset utilization, and providing immediate productivity and experience benefits for employees.

Utilization by floor, department, or room

Optimize the dispatch of cleaning personnel by cleaning-by-usage rather than by time. Align external services with actual demand and promote safety in the workplace by automatically requesting cleaners after a set number of uses

Future-proof sensors with AI extensions

Artificial intelligence extensions ensure that our sensors adapt to the changing business and market needs, considering global regulations.

Applications:

Airports

Optimize passenger flow and make real-time queue management in airports controllable and predictable.

Retail

Understand customers by analyzing flow. Improve store performance and enhance customers journeys.

Transportation

Automatic passenger counting to keep track of all passengers accurately and improve operations.

The PC2SE sensor empowers AI extensions and supports flexible mounting heights.

Flexible Mounting Heights

From a height of anywhere between 2 and 6 meters – or 7 to 20 feet – this 3D sensor has a bird's eye view. The PC2SE sensor covers areas from 0.3m²/3.5ft² up to 35m²/376.7ft². Mount it directly to the ceiling or use an accessory, like a pivot mount, for difficult-to-reach spots.

Artificial Intelligence Extensions

The PC2SE sensor is equipped with artificial intelligence (AI) and is based on edge computing technology, which processes data directly. From face mask detection to gender statistics, gather the counts and data you need.

Artificial Intelligence Extensions:

  • Gender Statistics - XOVIS sensors can recognize how a person expresses gender and detects whether a person is female or male and thus identify this basic target group.
  • View Direction - Sensors recognize an individual’s focus, or the direction in which their head and shoulders are facing.
  • Face Mask Detection - Sensors detect if a person is wearing a face mask, compliant with COVID-19 requirements.
  • Staff Exclusion - Sensors count all people, detect the staff exclusion pattern and thus clearly identify employees and exclude them from the counts.
  • Group Counting - Sensors recognize whether people who are moving together and thus clearly identify groups.
