FX-90

The FX90 is a web-based supervisory controller in the Facility Explorer® product family, offering advanced features for improved performance. It provides integrated control supervision and network management services for local equipment controller networks. With full support for building automation features including scheduling, alarming, historical data management, energy management, and more, it's tailored for commercial facilities.

FX-80

The FX80 Supervisory Controller is a web-based supervisory-class controller in the Facility Explorer® product family. The FX80 controller manages networks of field controllers using open communication protocols, such as BACnet®, LonWorks®, and N2 protocols.

FX Server

The Facility Explorer® (FX) Server software expands the capabilities of one or more FX Supervisory Controllers, in addition to managing IP field devices directly. The FX Server collects, stores, and provides access to large amounts of information (such as alarms, events, and histories) sourced from one or more FX Supervisory Controllers.


SNC Supervisory Controllers


The Facility Explorer SNC series (F4-SNC) are Ethernet-based, supervisory controllers that connect Building Automation System (BAS) networks to IP networks. The SNC features onboard inputs and outputs for direct control of equipment. This device monitors and controls networks of field-level building automation devices, including HVAC equipment, lighting, security, and fire safety equipment.

F4-CxM MS/TP Controllers


The FX General Purpose Application Controller (CGM) and VAV Box Controllers (CVMs) are the first models of a new, modernized family of equipment controllers which integrate in the web-based FX system.


FX-PC MS/TP Controllers


The FX-PC MS/TP products are programmable controllers that can be switched between BACnet MS/TP and N2 Communications protocols. When they are used as BACnet MS/TP devices, they are a BACnet Application Specific Controller (B-ASC) with integral MS/TP communications. In N2 mode, they can be used to modernize sites with legacy Johnson Controls controllers.

JCI is pleased to announce new models of the next-generation equipment controllers for the Facility Explorer system. With this release, JCI is expanding the next-generation equipment controller family to include equipment controllers that communicate on BACnet®/IP networks, to provide more flexibility in choosing the devices for your site’s network.



Remote I/O Devices


F4-XPM Series Expansion Modules


The F4-XPM series input/output (I/O) expansion modules are part of the Facility Explorer system CG, CV Equipment Controller family and can serve in one of two capacities depending on where they are installed in the Facility Explorer system. When installed on the Sensor/Actuator (SA) Bus of a Facility Explorer controller, an XPM expands the input and output interfaces that can be used with that equipment controller. When installed on the Field Controller (FC) Bus of a Facility Explorer network engine, an XPM can be used as I/O point multiplexors to support monitoring and control from a Facility Explorer Supervisory Controller.


FX-PCX Series Expansion Modules


PCXs can serve in one of two capacities, depending on where they are installed in the control system. When installed on the Sensor Actuator (SA) Bus of PCA controllers, the PCXs expand the I/O interfaces of the controllers. When installed on the Field Controller (FC) Bus, PCXs can be used as I/O point multiplexors to support monitoring and control from a supervisory controller. The point multiplexor can also be useful for sharing points between other PC controllers on the FC Bus using peer-to-peer connectivity.

NS-8000 Room Modules


The NS Series Network Sensors function directly with Metasys® system Field Equipment Controllers (FECs), Metasys Network and Control Engines (NCEs), Advanced Application Field Equipment Controller (FACs), Metasys VAV Box Equipment Controllers (CVM) and General Purpose Application Controllers (CGM), VAV Modular Assembly (VMA16) Controllers, and Facility Explorer™ FX-PC Series Programmable Controllers (FX-PCGs, FX-PCVs, and FX-PCXs). The sensors are also compatible with Verasys® and Johnson Controls® Smart Equipment.
